Peter T. King (born April 5, 1944) is a Republican politician from the U.S. state of New York, currently the United States Congressman for the state's 3rd Congressional District. King is known as a rather successful Republican in a leaning Democratic county in a largely Democratic state. He is considered a likely candidate for United States Senate in 2010.
