What Michael Steele Doesn't Get
>
After watching Republican National Committee Michael Steele's performance on Good Morning America, it's clear that he hasn't learned his lesson. Of course, Steele believes that, as a black man, is subject to increased scrutiny inside and outside the party, and the notion that he needs to a learn a lesson is a bit quaint, and quite possibly even racist. It's not. Here's what Steele doesn't seem to understand:
in suggesting that he might conjure up of a Bill of Rights or promises for...
Michael Steele plays the race card
Topics: Political News and commentaries His claim today in an interview on ABC's Good Morning America that he has a "slimmer margin for error" at the RNC because of his ethnicity, in other words, "playing the race card," is as Ed Morrissey aptly notes , unlikely to "quell calls for his resignation over the revelations of free-spending leadership at the RNC." Steele has become a disgrace, he's essentially failed at everything he's tried, and now, pulling the race card as an excuse, will be the...

He then said that this applies to President Obama as well. 'That's just the reality of it.' Steele also said that he had no plans to resign as Chair in...

Poor Poor Michael Steele
There is still Racism in the Democratic Party. You'll notice it most in urban areas where the Republican Party doesn't have any chance and the real Elections take place in the Democratic primaries. If you analyze the voting patterns, you'll find a strong correlation between the race of the voter and the race of the politician. If you get down in the trenches and go door-to-door for a black candidate in white neighborhoods, you'll have plenty of opportunity to reflect on the persistence of...

Michael Steele told
ABC News that Racism lies behind the torrent of criticism he's received
pretty much since becoming RNC chairman.
Let's get something straight:
Michael Steele has plenty
of problems, but his race isn't one of them.
Steele is hapless, solipsistic, and
incompetent. When he isn't embarrassing his party with his personal
antics , or his staff's , he's
setting it up for failure by
driving away its top fundraisers and not
keeping pace with Democrats.
It's...
